Hangcha Boom Lift USP
Articulating or telescopic reach
Articulating booms clear obstacles; telescopic booms provide long, direct outreach across open industrial and construction sites.
Electric and rough-terrain choices
Electric models support low-emission work, while selected rough-terrain and diesel configurations prioritise gradeability and continuous outdoor duty.
Controlled multi-function movement
Proportional basket and base controls, simultaneous functions and onboard diagnostics help operators position the platform accurately.
Choose the boom by its work envelope
Articulating boom lifts
Use articulated sections to work up and over machinery, roofs and structural obstacles. They suit sites where the platform cannot approach directly below the task.
Telescopic boom lifts
Provide long, direct horizontal outreach. They are commonly selected for large industrial sites and construction areas with clear access to the work line.
Electric or diesel power
Electric machines reduce site emissions and noise. Diesel and selected rough-terrain machines are suited to outdoor work where gradeability and continuous heavy duty take priority.
Hangcha boom lift models
The product range is divided by boom geometry and power system. Working height alone is insufficient; horizontal outreach, up-and-over height, platform load, ground condition and access width must be reviewed with the model.

|---|---|
| Selection point | Working height, horizontal outreach, up-and-over height, restricted platform capacity, axle layout and ground condition must be compared together. |
Hangcha product advantages that matter on site
Hangcha articulating boom models combine basket and base controls, proportional operation and simultaneous movements. Selected electric models use lithium battery systems, CAN-bus diagnostics and non-marking tyres.
The published articulating range includes models around 12 to 21 metres working height, while the HB electric telescopic range includes 23.4, 25 and 28 metre machines. Model capacities, outreach and gradeability vary and must be checked against the actual work envelope.
| Working envelope | Provide working height, horizontal distance and any obstacle that must be cleared. A height-only request is incomplete. |
|---|---|
| Platform load | Include all people, tools and materials. Some models offer dual platform capacities with different permitted outreach. |
| Ground condition | Check firmness, slope, turning space and access width. Rough terrain requires the correct drive system, tyres and gradeability. |
| Tail swing | Confirm nearby structures, traffic lanes and machinery. Tail swing affects safe positioning even when the platform can reach the task. |
| Power and charging | Indoor emissions limits, shift duration, charger supply and outdoor duty determine whether electric or diesel is practical. |

Boom lift FAQ
What is the difference between articulating and telescopic boom lifts?
Articulating booms reach up and over obstacles. Telescopic booms give longer, straighter horizontal reach where the work line is open.
Why is platform capacity shown at two ratings on some models?
Dual-capacity machines may permit a higher platform load within a restricted part of the working envelope. The load and required outreach must be reviewed together.
Can an electric boom lift work outdoors?
Yes, when the selected model, tyres, gradeability and ingress protection suit the site. Electric power alone does not define indoor-only use.
What warranty and payment terms apply?
Warranty is normally 1–2 years or 2,000 working hours, whichever comes first, depending on the confirmed machine and order. Normal payment terms are 30% deposit and 70% balance before delivery; special orders may require special terms.
See The Boom Lift Working
Boom-lift selection depends on outreach, platform height, ground condition and the access path around the work face. Use the working video as a practical reference before requesting a configuration review.
