- Choose diesel for long outdoor travel and sustained drawbar work; choose LPG where cleaner indoor–outdoor operation is required and fuel supply is reliable.
- Do not select only by nominal capacity. Mast height, fork length, attachment weight and load centre can reduce residual capacity sharply on a compact truck.
- For two- or three-shift work, specify the engine, radiator package and ambient temperature together; peak travel speed does not prove thermal stability.
- A sideshifter is useful for pallet alignment, but carton clamps or paper roll clamps require a complete hydraulic and residual-capacity review.
- Confirm local emission requirements before fixing the engine suffix; similar model names can carry different engines, electrical systems and parts lists.
