1.2–2.0 Tonne A Series Reach Trucks
CQD12-AC5 to CQD20-AC5 reach trucks for standard warehouse racking, with 10.2 km/h travel speed and mast options up to 12,500 mm.

The A Series is a practical choice for routine pallet storage where manoeuvrability, stability and predictable maintenance matter more than maximum cycle speed.
Its 1.2–2.0 tonne range covers common warehouse loads, while mast and residual-capacity selection must still be checked at the actual top beam height.

Models and working specifications
| Model | Rated capacity | Travel speed laden/unladen | Lift speed laden/unladen | Battery |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CQD12-AC5 | 1,200 kg at 600 mm load centre | 10.2 / 10.2 km/h | 0.400 / 0.530 m/s | 48 V / 400 Ah |
| CQD14-AC5 | 1,400 kg at 600 mm load centre | 10.2 / 10.2 km/h | 0.390 / 0.530 m/s | 48 V / 400 Ah |
| CQD16-AC5 | 1,600 kg at 600 mm load centre | 10.2 / 10.2 km/h | 0.370 / 0.530 m/s | 48 V / 500 Ah |
| CQD18-AC5 | 1,800 kg at 600 mm load centre | 10.2 / 10.2 km/h | 0.340 / 0.530 m/s | 48 V / 500 Ah |
| CQD20-AC5 | 2,000 kg at 600 mm load centre | 10.2 / 10.2 km/h | 0.310 / 0.530 m/s | 48 V / 500 Ah |
Catalogue mast options extend to 12,500 mm. Rated capacity at floor level is not the residual capacity available at that height.
A Series or XC Series?
| Selection point | A Series | XC Series | Practical guidance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Travel speed | 10.2 km/h laden/unladen | Up to 14 km/h in the overlapping reach-truck range | Choose XC for longer horizontal routes and higher cycle demand; A remains sensible for routine warehouse duty. |
| Lift system | 12.8 kW lift motor; laden lift speed decreases from 0.400 to 0.310 m/s as capacity rises | Higher-output packages are available in the 1.4–2.5 tonne XC group | Compare actual pallets per hour and top lift height instead of selecting by series name alone. |
| Cold-store option | F2 versions are available for environments down to -30 °C | Cold-store configurations depend on the applicable XC model | Confirm temperature, condensation, shift length and charger location before quotation. |
| Control and maintenance | Full AC control, EPS, regenerative braking and forward battery removal | Higher performance with different control choices by model | A Series favours straightforward operation; XC is justified when its higher cycle performance can be used. |
Five checks before confirming the truck
Video evidence helps confirm steering, visibility and battery access, but the final configuration still depends on the rack, pallet and working route.

A complete material handling solution
ForkFocus integrates forklifts, spare parts and hydraulic attachments into unified material handling solutions. For this reach-truck project, that means checking the mast height, fork dimensions, sideshift requirement, battery plan and planned service items as one order.
Required forklift attachments, forklift spare parts, inspection documents and delivery can be coordinated through our 360 Service and flexible shipment planning.
Frequently asked questions
Which A Series model fits a 1,500 kg pallet?
Capacity alone is not enough. The 600 mm load centre, required mast height and residual-capacity chart decide whether CQD16-AC5 or another configuration is appropriate.
Can this reach truck work in a freezer?
F2 versions are listed for cold storage down to -30 °C. We still confirm temperature, shift duration, door cycles, hydraulic oil and battery-heating requirements.
How high can the A Series lift?
Mast tables extend to 12,500 mm, but available residual capacity reduces as lift height increases. Send the pallet and rack data for a model-specific review.
What is the normal delivery time?
Standard small-capacity forklifts normally require about 30 days after the order and configuration are confirmed. Special masts, cold-store packages or project documentation may change the schedule.
What warranty and payment terms apply?
Warranty is normally 1–2 years or 2,000 working hours, whichever comes first. Normal payment is 30% deposit and 70% balance before delivery; special order terms are discussed separately.
