A clamp or fork positioner may have enough structural capacity for a load while the fitted forklift cannot lift that load at the required height and load centre. The reverse is also possible.
Read both ratings before selecting the package

| Check | Question for the buyer | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Attachment | Can the attachment hold and move this load? | Rated capacity, opening, contact design and duty |
| Truck | Can this truck carry it with this attachment at this height? | Exact load chart, attachment mass, CGH, ET and cargo load centre |
| System | Will fit, hydraulics and visibility work together? | Carriage, valve, pressure, flow, hose travel and operating clearance |
What to send for a useful recommendation
Send the load weight and dimensions, attachment model or drawing, forklift nameplate, mast chart, maximum lift height and hydraulic details. ForkFocus can compare the two limits and identify missing evidence before quotation.
