Hangcha Forklifts / Class 8
Class 8 Electric Platform Trucks
Class 8 equipment moves trailers, parts, tools and personnel over longer internal routes where a counterbalance forklift is not the efficient choice. Correct selection starts with towing weight, route length, gradient, stopping frequency and charging opportunity.
Two platforms for different transport work
X Series electric platform trucks cover short- and medium-distance material transfer in factories, rail terminals, airports and vehicle plants. The line extends from compact 1.0–5.0 t towing platforms to 8.0–16.0 t industrial tractors.
SPIRIT personnel carriers are compact lithium vehicles for warehouses, manufacturing plants and exhibition facilities. They carry personnel and light cargo while retaining useful towing capacity.

Choose the equipment family
X Series Electric Platform Trucks
1.0–5.0 t compact units and 8.0–16.0 t heavy platforms for repeat transport routes, trailer movement and industrial logistics.
SPIRIT Series Personnel Carrier
A compact lithium platform rated to carry 350 kg and tow 2200 kg for internal people-and-material movement.
Five checks before capacity is confirmed
Towing weight
Confirm the loaded trailer weight, rolling resistance and number of trailers—not only the nominal tow rating.
Route and gradient
Long ramps, expansion joints and frequent turns determine traction, braking and battery demand.
Shift pattern
Measure distance per cycle, stops per hour and available charging windows before selecting battery capacity.
Coupling and trailer
Drawbar height, pin size, steering geometry and emergency braking must match the existing trailer fleet.
Operator protection
Cab, lighting, warning devices and weather protection depend on route exposure and site rules.
One material-handling project, not separate purchases
ForkFocus integrates forklifts, spare parts and Forklift Attachments into unified material handling solutions. The truck is checked together with the duty cycle, operator route, planned service parts and delivery method.
For mixed orders, our 360 service covers configuration confirmation, inspection and document coordination. Flexible shipment planning is arranged around dimensions, delivery urgency and local receiving conditions.
See the equipment in working conditions
Video is useful for checking turning behaviour, operator position and how the truck handles repeated transport routes. For an exact selection, the route and trailer data still need to be reviewed.
Class 8 FAQ
When is a platform truck better than a forklift?
Use a platform truck when the job is repeated horizontal transport rather than stacking. It reduces unnecessary mast weight and gives the operator a purpose-built towing and transport platform.
Can one model work indoors and outdoors?
Yes, but tyre choice, braking, cab protection, gradient and drainage conditions must be checked. A smooth indoor route and an exposed yard impose very different demands.
What delivery terms normally apply?
Small industrial trucks are normally planned around 30 days, subject to configuration. Payment is normally 30% deposit and 70% balance before delivery, with special terms considered for special orders.
Confirm the truck around the actual route
Send the travel distance, gradient, trailer weight, floor condition and shift pattern. ForkFocus will check the platform, battery, tyres, braking and service-parts plan as one material-handling project.
