A conventional counterbalance forklift needs a wide turning circle when the load is six or eight metres long. This multidirectional sideloader changes between straight, sideways and 360-degree travel so the load can move along narrow warehouse routes without sweeping across adjacent racks.
The four-pivot articulated steering design keeps the wheels in contact with the floor and lowers the centre of gravity. It is a strong chassis for long-load work, but only when the load centre, rack clearance, fork spread and floor condition are confirmed together.

All three models use two 5.0 kW travel motors. The CCD35 uses a 21 kW lift motor, while the CCD40 and CCD45 use 25.4 kW lift motors.
The mast programme runs from 3,000 to 8,000 mm. Published loaded/unloaded gradeability is 9/11%, 8/10% and 8/10% respectively, so ramp length and surface condition must be checked before relying on catalogue figures.

The rated tonnage alone does not choose the truck. Actual load length, centre of gravity, rack face, cross-aisle clearance and the width of every doorway decide which chassis is safe and productive.

Five checks before a multidirectional sideloader is released

Frequently asked questions
Can the CCD45 carry 4,500 kg at an 8,000 mm mast height?
No such assumption should be made. The 4,500 kg rating is stated at a 600 mm load centre, while residual capacity decreases with mast height and a longer real load centre.
What is the difference between a multidirectional sideloader and an all-directional reach truck?
The sideloader is the heavier 3.5–4.5 tonne route with a wider long-load platform. The 2.0–3.0 tonne all-directional reach truck is more compact and adds diagonal and spin manoeuvring for tighter warehouse layouts.
When is the widened fork carriage necessary?
It is considered when the product width, required fork spread or load stability exceeds the standard 1,310 mm carriage. The widened carriage offers up to 2,840 mm fork spread.
Can this truck work outdoors?
It can support suitable mixed indoor/outdoor long-load routes, but surface flatness, drainage, gradients and tyre suitability must be confirmed. Rough unpaved yards normally require a different chassis.
What are the usual ForkFocus order terms?
Small-capacity forklifts normally require about 30 days, while large-capacity and heavy-duty projects normally require about 45 days after technical confirmation. Normal payment is 30% deposit and 70% balance before delivery; warranty is 1–2 years or 2,000 working hours, whichever comes first, with special terms reviewed for special orders.
