Personnel movement and material transport are different duties
The XC Series personnel carrier handles a 770 lb deck load and can tow up to 4,850 lb. A low step, suspended rear drive axle, foldable backrest and built-in 100–240 V charger suit mixed people-and-light-material movement.
The X Series burden carrier covers 3,000, 4,500 and 6,000 lb rated deck loads. Its stronger chassis, full-elastic suspension, AC traction and optional cabin or weather protection suit longer industrial transport routes.
How the duty decides the vehicle
Personnel carrier
Use it for operators, a second passenger and light cargo between work areas. It is not a replacement for a forklift when the load must be lifted or stacked.
Burden carrier
Use the cargo deck for line supply, baggage, tools or parts. Deck size, payload, route length and gradient determine the rated vehicle.
Towing route
If towing is the main duty, trailer weight, coupling height, drawbar pull, turning radius and stopping distance must be checked. A tow tractor may be the better chassis.

We review the full route: surface joints, gradients, doorways, pedestrian crossings, weather exposure and charging windows. The same payload can require a different suspension, tyre, cabin or braking package when the route changes.
