Class 2 Reach Trucks, Order Pickers & VNA Equipment

Warehouse trucks for high racking, narrow aisles and order-picking routes where lift height, residual capacity and turning space decide the correct chassis.

What belongs to Class 2 warehouse equipment?

Class 2 covers electric trucks designed to work inside the racking system rather than around an open yard. The principal groups are reach trucks, order pickers and very narrow aisle equipment.

A high mast alone does not make a truck suitable for high-bay work. The load centre, residual capacity, aisle calculation, fork movement and operator position must all be checked against the actual rack and pallet.

Order Pickers

For case, carton and component picking, the picking level, platform arrangement and travel route are more important than rated load alone.

VNA Equipment

For very narrow aisles, rail or wire guidance, transfer aisle, rack tolerance and floor flatness must be confirmed before truck selection.

Which truck fits the warehouse task?

Choose the truck by the movement that consumes most of the shift. A reach truck stores full pallets, an order picker brings the operator to the picking level, and a VNA truck works inside an aisle designed around the machine.

Five checks that prevent a costly warehouse mismatch

1. Residual capacity at the top levelRated capacity at low lift height cannot be used as the high-rack capacity. We check the actual load centre and mast configuration.
2. Aisle width with the real palletAst values depend on pallet orientation, load overhang, steering geometry and safety clearance.
3. Floor, guidance and rack toleranceHigh-lift and VNA work magnifies floor and rack errors. These conditions must be reviewed before confirming the truck.
4. Battery and shift patternBattery capacity, charger input and available charging windows determine whether the truck can complete the planned shift.
5. Cold-store and operator packageCabin, heater, low-temperature oil, battery conditioning, camera and height pre-selection are specified only where the route requires them.

A reach truck is only productive when the operator, mast, battery and warehouse route work as one system.

ForkFocus turns the rack plan into a deliverable truck configuration

Our team checks the pallet, rack drawing, top beam, aisle, floor, shift pattern, charger supply and any special environment before confirming the series and mast height.

We can coordinate the truck with planned forklift spare parts, inspection documents and delivery through our 360 Service and flexible shipment planning.

Delivery

Standard small-capacity forklifts normally require about 30 days after technical confirmation.

Warranty

1–2 years or 2,000 working hours, whichever comes first, subject to the confirmed order.

Payment

Normally 30% deposit and 70% balance before delivery. Special terms may be discussed for special orders.

Class 2 FAQ

Can rated capacity be used at the maximum lift height?

No. Residual capacity changes with mast height, load centre, fork or attachment weight and truck configuration. The final chart must be checked for the actual load.

What information is required to calculate the aisle width?

Provide the pallet length and width, load overhang, rack-to-rack aisle, turning area and required safety clearance. A plan or marked warehouse drawing is preferred.

Can a standard reach truck work in a freezer?

A cold-store package may require a heated cabin, low-temperature components, battery conditioning and condensation control. The operating temperature and time inside the freezer must be confirmed.

How do I choose between a reach truck and VNA equipment?

A reach truck is more flexible across mixed warehouse routes. VNA equipment is selected when storage density justifies dedicated aisles, guidance and stricter floor conditions.

Configure the warehouse truck around the aisle

Why Hangcha

Reach trucks, order pickers and VNA equipment solve different storage problems. We check aisle width, rack height, pallet dimensions, lift height, residual capacity and floor condition before the model is fixed.

The correct truck is the one that can travel, turn, lift and retrieve the real pallet safely inside the customer’s rack layout.

Why ForkFocus

ForkFocus integrates forklifts, spare parts and Forklift Attachments into unified material handling solutions.

Battery and charger, mast and fork configuration, planned service parts, inspection documents and shipment planning are confirmed as one warehouse-equipment project.
