45 t X Series Reach Stacker

45 t X Series Reach Stacker

The RS4531CH X Series is a reach stacker for handling and stacking loaded 20 ft and 40 ft ISO containers. It is not a warehouse stacker: first-, second- and third-row capacity, aisle width, ground bearing pressure and spreader control determine whether it can work safely in the terminal.

What an experienced forklift team checks before quotation

The model number is only the starting point. These five checks decide whether the truck will maintain cycle time, cooling performance and safe residual capacity in the real working condition.

Capacity changes by container row

Rated capacity is 45,000 kg in the first row, 31,000 kg in the second and 16,000 kg in the third. Quotation must therefore start with the actual stacking pattern.

Spreader control affects cycle quality

The ELME telescopic spreader uses electro-hydraulic proportional control for adjustable speed and smoother rotation. Twist-lock interlocks help prevent lifting before all corners are locked.

Wet-disc braking suits terminal duty

Wet-disc service brakes support repeated heavy stops and contaminated working areas better than an exposed dry system. Route speed and braking distance still need a site review.

Cooling is specified for continuous work

Large radiators and the heavy-duty chassis are intended for demanding port cycles. High ambient temperature, airborne dust and shift length remain part of the configuration review.

Ground and aisle checks come before delivery

A loaded reach stacker imposes high axle loads. Pavement strength, turning radius, 20 ft and 40 ft stacking aisle, overhead clearance and service access must be confirmed.

Prepared for project shipment

A 45 tonne reach stacker is shipped as project cargo. The chassis, boom, counterweight and associated assemblies are checked as one delivery package so reassembly and commissioning can be planned before arrival.

One material-handling solution, not an isolated truck

ForkFocus integrates the forklift, spare parts and Forklift Attachments into one material-handling solution. We check the truck configuration together with the customer’s load, route, maintenance ability and future operating cost.

For specialist handling, we can match forklift attachments such as a paper roll clamp, carton clamp, fork positioner, sideshifter or rotator. Carriage class, oil flow, pressure, auxiliary valve functions and residual capacity are confirmed before production.

Planned service parts can ship with the truck, while our 360 service covers drawing confirmation, inspection, documentation and delivery coordination. Flexible shipment planning is arranged around the truck dimensions, attachments and project schedule.

Frequently asked questions

Is this machine a forklift or a warehouse stacker?

It is a container reach stacker. It handles loaded ISO containers through a telescopic spreader and must not be described or selected as a warehouse pallet stacker.

What information is required for an accurate quotation?

Send the load weight and dimensions, load centre, mast height, indoor or outdoor route, ground condition, shift intensity, tyre preference and required attachment.

What is the normal delivery time?

Large-capacity and heavy-duty forklifts normally require about 45 days after order and technical confirmation. Special masts, cabins, engines and attachments may change the schedule.

What warranty applies?

The normal warranty is 1–2 years or 2,000 working hours, whichever comes first. The exact term depends on the agreed model and project conditions, with special arrangements available for special orders.

What are the normal payment terms?

Normally 30% deposit and 70% balance before delivery. Special terms can be discussed for special orders.

Send the working condition before fixing the model

Our forklift team will check the capacity, mast height, engine, tyres, attachment hydraulics and shipment as one configuration. This prevents a nominally correct truck from arriving with the wrong working setup.
